Noit’s not superman or batman or spiderman it’s ELECTRIC MAN !!!!!!

ok, so this 71-year old Chinese man that you can so clearly see in the picture, calls himself ‘Electric Man’. Why would that be?

That is because he routinely has 220V of electricity flowing through his body, which he claims is ‘exercising’. (*GaSp*!)

So, what’s so interesting about this ‘Mad Electric Man’? Well, while he is charged up, he can do a lot of interesting things.
He can light lightbulbs (oh yeah!!), cook fish in 2 minutes at the latest, (that is fast!) and not to forget, he also uses his ‘power’ to treat locals for diseases such as rheumatism, arthritis and lumbago. Oh yeah, am sure now… I’ll never go to a Chinese polyclinic.

Something to think about… If he cooks fish in 2 minutes, how long would it take to cook himself? I am betting that to be about half an hour!

What do you say guys?

What are Challenges ?

What are "Challenges " ? These are a series of hurdles in life for some which have to be crossed in order to move forward. For some these are just tests life gives us to make us stronger,For me they are both.I am a fifteen year old kid and I have faced very limited challenges and most of them were related to academics or family life.overcoming challenges seems hard but once you overcome them and look back you realize they were a piece of cake for now you are stronger.

Overcoming challenges requires immense will power and determination. For ex I rarely do good in Maths in school for I am not interested in it and therefore not determined to work hard. But these challenges are easy to pass.I have faced many tough challenges regarding family matters who are not ready to accept my views and who I am.But I went through all of these challenges and now I am more confident about who I am.In school I have to face a new challenge everyday.Everyday I have to understand and master something new and everyday my knowledge increases.Every day I have to bear my extremely bitter grand parents and control my anger. But I don’t find this difficult for man can do whatever he wants. So in order to over come challenges you need a positive attitude, a positive mind and the right amount of determination and will power.Along with this you need to see a challenge as a hurdle which must be climbed like a mountain for there is no way around it and no short cuts.A challenge is like a landslide and you have to move it out of the road if you want to proceed further and if not then you are stuck and will never reach your goal.

In short a challenge can be only overcome by one’s will power and determination to succeed.

I read this little story in a blog.Cool blog.The link is :http://laughlikecartoons.blogspot.com/

Fooled By A Ghost

My friend lives in Delhi … One day he went to Gurgaon to visit his uncle for some days. One evening he and some other of my college friends went to Priya’s for a movie. He had so much fun that he forgot that it was very late. He reached Gurgaon around midnight ……

He had to walk about a mile from where his friend dropped him…. As he was walking alone, he could sense that the night felt very creepy as it was so dark. While walking, he was astonished to see an old creepy looking guy selling some books. It was a very unusual thing to see a thing like that….. It got the shivers on him when he noticed that his old guy is unusually pale and staring at him…

The old guy said "Son why don’t you get a book…it would keep you company". Then he did something which he would regret for the rest of his life ………

My friend started to act brave & thought why not & had a look at his collection.. he noticed that all the books were related to supernatural activities…but he found one that was very interesting. So he asked the old man "how much is it?"….

The old guy replied, "Well son…this is an interesting book…it’s only for Rs 250."

My friend was shocked and said "but…but…it’s expensive"

This time the old man stared which freaked my friend. My friend quickly checked all his pockets & found Rs.200 & said "This is all I hav e." The old guy replied "It’s OK son …you can have the book for that price"

As ! my friend was just about to run for home…the old man called back & said "Son … whatever happen, you don’t ever flip the book to it’s last page… remember these words or you would regret it…!!!!!"

My friend nodded and never looked back … Reaching home…he quickly asked his Uncle whether there was any new old book seller nearby? The Uncle replied "not that I know of but …we’ve heard that there’s 1 old man comes once in a while during full moon nights but heard that there is something creepy about it…why son?"

My friend freaked out… he told his uncle "nothing uncle…just asking". He started reading the book with the old man’s words on his mind. At night, 2 o’clock , as he went to bed, a gush of wind blew which chilled him up to his bones. At that glimpse, he noticed the wind had blown the pages to its last page. He remembered what the old man has said! But we humans tend to have the tendency to know. Out of curiosity, he
flipped to the last page & fainted…

What he saw at the last page is stated below:

Don’t look further down if you have a weak heart I warn you

Loneliness

Loneliness what is it ?Don’t worry I am not going to give you an definition taken from the dictionary for I have experienced it and I understand it.First of all there are two categories of loneliness.First there is the physical loneliness the one which you experience when you are away from your loved one like family. For ex in a different country. Then there is the emotional loneliness.Your family and friends are around you but you can’t seem to connect to them share your thoughts or feelings with them keeping everything thing to your self. You feel as if no one really understands you or makes an effort to do so.

The second category is worse then the first one for you think there is no hope and you will be friendless in this huge world and have to live your life all alone. Many teens who cannot handle this pain of being all all alone with no one to share their burden restort to self cutting etc to distract themselves. But this not the solution. You should bond with family be open with them. They will understand you slowly.it takes time. Then you should make friends. And any ways if you fell lonely try joining forums, there you can find many identical people who share similar problems. And my favorite try listening to music.
To put in a nut shell loneliness is the feeling of being alone you get when you are away from your loved ones or are unable to bond with them.

School

School what is it ? Is it a place where a bunch of wild kids are shut up together ? No.It is a place where a child is not only given knowledge relating to this world but is also groomed and equipped with the necessary skills to progress in this world. And not only that school also allows a kid to get one of the most precious gift of life a friend who sticks with you in times of happiness and trouble. In school children learn many things and qualities like loyalty and discipline. For example loyalty to friends and getting up on time to reach school on a specific time early in the morning.

School is the place where a child’s character is formed his personality and his views are shaped.School days are a a preview of the rough life out side with it’s ups and downs. In a school we learn what it’s like to fall down then get up again to struggle and achieve what we want.

If a child has the right attitude and a positive mind then a journey through a school can equip him/her with all the necessary skills necessary for success. But if one is not strong enough to face the problems of present schools like bullying, pressure and unfair practices it’s difficult that she /he will be able to face the real world.

To put it in a nut shell school is a time in most people’s history and present which is associated with their most pleasant memories emoticonfor you tend to remember the good things in life and forget the unpleasant.

Movie review : Bridge to Terabithia

The movie The bridge to Terabithia is based on a book with the same name written by by Katherine Paterson. This is a delightful movie showing the friendship of two children a boy and girl both from opposite sides of the community. The boy (Jesse) is from a poor family three sisters. He feels a bit inferior due to his sneakers and other accessories which are often in bad condition. The girl (Leslie) and her parents shift next door to Jesse.Leslie, whose parents are authors has a great imagination and quickly befriends Jesse who is a great artist.Together the set up their own imaginary kingdom in a nearby forest known as Terabithia and declearing themselves as it’s king and queen. The movies has superb animations plus a fast moving story line. It’s a movie for the whole family but unlike most movies this has an sad ending. emoticon
This movie provides a change from the action packed films with a charming story with no hidden mysteries etc but still keeping the viewer glued due to the charm provided by it’s simplicity.

Game review:Splinter Cell: doulbe Agent.

These days the final frontier of graphics has been crossed. But most of these games are being launching on PS3 or the Xbox 360. But there are some really awesome and realistic games in the Ps2 as well. One of them is Splinter Cell : Double agent. It’s a realistic action/adventure game which will be a treat for serious gamers for it provides intense action as well as sneak kills and has a solid well written story line. The story is about an govt operative Sam Fisher. He works for a secret govt intelligence agency against terrorismemoticon. But everything turns upside down when his only daughter dies.Sam Fisher then accepts a dangerous mission to go undercover for an terrorist agency known as the JBA.Now this game is very different from others because in missions you can make decisions like whether you obey the JBA or work against them. But you have to make sure you don’t lean too much because then either the JBA or the govt loses trust in you and gives you missions to redeem your self. The weapons include a sub machine gun emoticonwith sniper, shot gun and knock out darts attachments,Some of these you get in the third or fourth mission.Along with this there are Wall mines, smoke grenades,a traditional knife,a revolver which can also shut down cameras etc.You also have some really cool spy toys like small cameras which can be blasted from guns or a optic cable allowing you to see through key holes. You also have ultra cool goggles with night vision, heat vision and another attachment allowing you to spot anything electric like bombs live wires cameras etc. There are also some good moves for stealth kills,Sometimes the challenges also allows you to use your brain. The AI is good.If the enemy can’t see in the dark the often open fire and sometimes even damage your health.
The draw back is that you can’t take your enemy guns and you have to use bullets carefully for you can only get limited bullets.Guns are also limited and some of the missions are also very difficult. But over all the good points cover up the draw backs and this is an awesome game which can kill a few hours.

(I have played this game on PS 2 )

Freedom

According to Wikepedia freedom refers refers, in a very general sense, to the state of being free (i.e.: unrestricted, unconfined or unfettered). But to according to an saying Man is born free but then he is in chains. It’s true. Our freedoms have decreased but when speaking of freedom I don’t mean the freedom of expressing our selves without constraints which might be insulting to others leading to conflicts.By freedom I mean to live our life as we want and not according to supply and demand of jobs in our economy or according to the principles of our parents in which we don’t believe. If we see we are not free to completely map out our life.First of all we are slaves to money, we plan out our life from our childhood to death to follow a route leading to a good income and not what we desire. Thus we are not making our choices according to our views instead our choices are based on the views of the majority.

Then comes political freedom. The west America in particular boast about great political freedoms to it’s citizens which is write to quite an extent. But even do they have the freedom to go and tell the president to carry out their wishes? Can they go to the White House ask him to take a vote and then end all wars ? No is the answer for they are not free to visit bush and order him even though it’s their country. Most countries don’t give their citizens political freedom by making sure that to obtain it you have to be rich thus limiting freedom to the rich class.Freedom is something which is no longer free.It has to bought.

In short freedom is a limited franchise due to the majority allowing the minority to take their decisions in their hands. This reduction in freedom mainly political freedom has been the result of the failure of the majority to unite to achieve their aims thus allowing the elite minority figures to take over.

Should parents search teenagers room ?

I am writing this article but I am not a super dad or mom instead I am a regular teen.I think that only a teen can understand the problem’s faced by teens for to understand the problem you have to have the brain of a teen similar thinking and similar emotions which adults don’t posses.

Many parents are concerned about the their kids and it’s natural to worry that your teen might be into drugs etc and the only way to confirm this to most parents is to search their kids rooms. Now I ask you is this a wise move ? This will only enrage your kids and nothing else for teens are very emotional about their privacy and freedom.First of all many teens think that they respect their parents privacy keeping their secrets etc plus never poking their nose in their private matters so why can’t parents do the same ? So searching your teen’s room is unwise and any ways if a person is doing something unethical he/she will not be stupid enough to leave proof around in a place which is easily accessible.Parents should respect their kids privacy. They should agree t give teens their privacy in return for a little info of their activities and friends. But this should not be with the intention of keeping your teen in check every moment or a constant track of his activities. This should be with the intention that in times of emergency parents know enough about their teens to do something and this should be made clear to them thus saving a parent to upset their kid further by showing signs of mistrust by searching their kids rooms. This is a clear signal of mistrust and thus angering your kids who in turn will also not trust you instead move away from family and indulge more into friends asking them for advice and help instead of "untrustworthy parents".

To put in a nut shell searching your teenagers room is a sign of mistrust and a disrespect of their privacy thus making matters worse and even sometimes leading to family fights and an increasing lack of disrespect for one’s parents.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don’t believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?"asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine loving a God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kept.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?"asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don’t exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That’s the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him. That’s why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world."

***

I have not written this story.I found this in a forum and thought that it was a thing which should be shared with others. So when you are in a problem knock at God’s door pray to him and he will answer.People just say that God doesnt help them. But how will God help yu if you dont ask for his help ???
